Noke & Noke U-lock
A: Nokē is compatible with iOS devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 LE hardware and running iOS 7.0 or later (iPhone 4S or newer, iPod Touch 5G or newer, iPad 3G or newer, iPad minis). Nokē is also compatible with Android devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 hardware and running Kit Kat (4.4) version of the Android operating system (including Samsung Galaxy S4 or newer, HTC One or newer, and several more).
A: The Nokē Padlock uses a standard CR2032 watch battery that is easy to find at retail.
A: The Lockvue® mobile app will show you the battery level each time you use it, so you’ll know when it is time to replace the battery. However, if the battery dies while Nokē is in the locked position, you can “jump-start” your Nokē with an external battery while your authorized device is within range. This will allow you to unlock Nokē and replace the dead battery.
A: Nokē uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE which contains the highest level of security. Bluetooth 4.0 LE uses a 128-bit AES CCM encryption algorithm to ensure transmissions are encrypted and secure. This is significantly stronger than older Bluetooth devices.
A: Yes, in addition to standard Bluetooth encryption, Nokē employs the latest in PKI technology and uses cryptographic key exchange protocol to keep your communications with Nokē secure.

A: The Nokē Padlock has an IP66 rating and is built to withstand tough environments and weather conditions. The Nokē Padlock is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Meaning, it will withstand rain and snow but not submersion in water.
A: Yes, if a system admin allows it. Users can be assigned a one-time code consisting of a randomly generated series of short and long presses on the shackle. This code will allow the user to unlock Nokē manually.
A: Yes, the Lockvue® mobile app needs to be running or in the background for Nokē to open. However, the phone can be sleeping in a user’s pocket, purse, or bag and still unlock Nokē, assuming 1-Step Unlock is enabled.
A: The Friday Lock is installed using your existing lock, making installation easier and safer. Friday Lock is a retrofit to the existing deadbolt lock.
A: Yes, it is. The lithium battery that comes in the box can be recharged using the charger provided.
A: Each time the Friday lock is used, the battery life is recorded on your Lockvue ® mobile app.
A: The Friday Lock uses a rechargeable lithium battery with an equivalent lifetime of 8xAA high quality batteries, and reduces the size of the product substantially. In normal usage conditions the battery life is about 3 months before needing recharge. When the battery runs low, you will see an indication in the app. A USB charger is included in the package.
A: The Friday lock uses the same encryption levels as International banks, making the system extremely secure.
